Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Trackwell (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Trackwell is a tool for tracking job applications, managing resumes, and preparing for interviews, including AI-assisted features. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Accounts & eligibility

You must provide a valid email address and be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping access to your email secure, since sign-in uses a magic link sent to that address.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Abuse AI or automated features — for example, scripting excessive requests to circumvent plan limits.
  • Upload content you do not have the right to use, or that is unlawful or infringing.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you add to the Service (applications, resumes, notes, and so on). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit that content solely to operate the Service and provide the features you request — including sending relevant content to our third-party providers as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you provide.

5. Subscriptions & billing

The Service offers a free tier and paid plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe.

  • Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
  • Cancellation. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep paid access until then.
  • Changes. We may change plan pricing or limits with reasonable notice; changes apply to future billing periods.
  • Refunds. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

6. AI-generated content

Features such as resume matching, prep plans, company briefs, and message drafts are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. They are provided for your convenience and do not constitute professional, career, legal, or financial advice. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI output before relying on it.

7. Intellectual property

The Service itself — including its software, design, and branding — is owned by Trackwell and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or to copy or resell the Service.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us or others. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as billing, disclaimers, and liability) will remain in effect.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate. Trackwell does not guarantee any particular job-search or interview outcome.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trackwell will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and provide notice where appropriate. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Trackwell operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
